Thankfulness to God

I thank God for the past,
Memories that will last;
Forever and a day,
Wishing they could stay.

For every time I pray,
Of blessings come your way;
And it makes me so glad,
For the good times we had.

We were able to share,
All the griefs that we bear;
But were able to choose,
The joys of the Good News.

I am convinced that God,
Did mend where you were flawed;
As the good work in you,
Onto the Word be true.

You have a special place,
In my heart from the grace;
That has flowed from Heaven,
Through Christ that was given.

Jesus Christ fills your life,
Helping to get through strife;
May your glory and praise,
Be blessing you always.
