Please God in your LifeBecause of the Lord we compel, Ask to encourage you to excel; In living a God pleasing life, Even within the midst of strife. Please do not go and become weak, When you look for answers you seek; Remember the way you were taught, For things required to be sought. Do not let orders be ignored, Given onto you through the Lord; The will of God says keep away, From temptations that make you stray. So you can be spared from the wrath, If you avoid the lustful path; Through the passionate seduction, Of Satan and his abduction. No one should exploit believers, But caution of the deceivers; That will take advantage of you, Hitting fast and without a clue. God called on us to be holy, To be pure and also lowly; Not as sexually unchaste, That many harlots have embraced. Copyright © 2010 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
