MICHIGAN MY MICHIGAN - A CIVIL WAR TRIBUTE
I recently came across this great tribute to the Michigan Volunteers (The Wolverines)
who fought in the American Civil War to help defend our union during one of the worst
periods in our history where we had actually fought each other northern states against
the southern states who wanted our nation divided into two seperate nations. Many men
were lost on both sides of that great war between the states, until we were once again
a united country, the United States of America. So I offer this video as a tribute to
their memory and for their great sacrifices during the war to keep all of America and
her states free as one great nation. The Civil War began on April 12, 1861
