Preaching the GospelOur time is never wasted, For the Gospel we have tasted; And it is such of a delight, Giving us a lot of insight. Although times it can be so tough, Having suffered and being rough; Shamefully treated like dirt, The conflicts trying to avert. We have been treated with insults, Like children instead of adults; Because of our thoughts and views, That some others try to abuse. But none of this will discourage, God has given us the courage; Which is through our salvation, In spite of strong opposition. It is not unethical schemes, Or by some corruptible means; With illusions for to deceive, Trying to make others believe. Rather we go spread the Good News, Along with the Christian values; God trusts us to do our best, Since He does know we pass the test. Copyright © 2010 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
