His All-Seeing Providence

Where can I go to get away?
I have to find someplace today;
Where can I run away from Christ?
For temptations made me enticed.

And now I am truly ashamed,
For all the times that I proclaimed;
Now in thinking what I have done,
Against the Father and the Son.

I could not go up to Heaven,
With salvation that was given;
Because I know that Christ is there,
With all that I did I do not dare.

If I go down to hell and hide,
He would come ask me why I lied;
And I am not sure what to say,
So many laws I disobey.

Maybe I should go and embark,
From the light and into the dark,
Keeping hidden throughout the night,
Constantly moving from the light.

Even in there His hand would guide,
Back on track where I could abide;
For I know that Christ will forgive,
If I confess then I will live.
