Monday Night
it doesn't make sense
all this late night couch sitting
and head rubbing
and blank staring
thinking thoughts no one will ever know
or care about
or begin to understand
so try to understand this
it's 1:23am and i'm waiting
i'm ready when you are
but could you please pick up some milk
i sure could use a cup of tea
