The Eye of the StormGive thanks onto the Lord, Let it not be ignored; Of His mercy and grace, That shines upon your face. He performed miracles, For those with obstacles; Showing that He was kind, Giving sight to the blind. Bring songs of thanksgiving, For He is forgiving; Ease your pain when done wrong, So it will not prolong. Sing of what He has done, As Jesus God the Son; For He calms down the seas, Changing wind to a breeze. Those who sail on the sea, Are helpless as they can be; When in a stormy gale, Safety is no avail. But no need for to mourn, If the eye of the storm; Comes through the loving care, When asked to Christ in prayer. Copyright © 2010 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
