A New Life

Our Lord has filled me with joy,
That no one would ever destroy;
Which is keeping life interesting,
Causing my soul to keep thirsting.

But I had no opportunity,
To show my real ability;
Proving my love for Jesus Christ,
In the past that would have sufficed.

But I have learned to be content,
Which merely meant to circumvent;
Regardless the state I was in,
Even if it involved some sin.

But now I know on how to live,
Realizing how God will forgive;
No matter of the time or place,
I can be counting on His grace.

Because I have learned the secret,
That I never have to regret;
Of things that happened in the past,
Pardons will cause them to be cast.

I can do anything with Christ,
And no longer feeling enticed;
By worldly events that surround,
Who does strengthen me all around.
