Their Prior Rights

You receive approval from God,
By giving Him honor and laud;
But also as to what Moses taught,
Through the laws that the Lord had wrought.

For the prophets had been quite bold,
Through the Scriptures it was foretold;
If we are doing what is right,
We show favor within His sight.

All who believe in Jesus Christ,
And temptations have not enticed;
Then through your faith God does approve,
And iniquities He will remove.

But all have sinned and fallen short,
Of His glory when you go to court;
But through Christ we have been set free,
By act of His kindness decree.

For Jesus Christ has paid the price,
Out of His love to be precise;
God has shown that Christ is the throne,
Of mercy that God would condone.

Through the blood as it is given,
To have a ticket to Heaven;
And deal with the sins of the past,
So God would be able to cast.
