Contented
Never let it to be ignored,
I greatly rejoice in the Lord;
And as an easy going guy,
Seldom see me sad or to cry.
You will not catch me being grim,
Since I have an interest in Him;
And Christ shows His interest in me,
Guiding to how all things should be.
For He always gives me the strength,
In persevering through the length;
And with patience to tolerate,
At the times that I sit and wait.
He has revived all of my thought,
That I have spiritually sought;
Showing me where to take a chance,
So I am able to advance.
For I have learned to be content,
How to be humble and repent;
Regardless of the condition,
Or whatever is the mission.
I know living in poverty,
As well as in prosperity;
Just as knowing hunger and thirst,
And being both as last and first.
For He always shows me the way,
So I never would have to stray;
Since I have done a lot through Christ,
No matter what was sacrificed.
