Comforting the Church
Fear not for the Lord has reclaimed,
According to His Word proclaimed;
As His own calling you by name,
Your past no longer as to blame.
God is with you when out to sea,
He watches when you climb a tree;
When gone through a river or stream,
He calmed the current when extreme.
When you have to walk through fire,
He makes the flames to expire;
He will guide you so not to stray,
So not to be swept you away.
The Lord will keep you from all harm,
Ensuring you get an alarm;
When approaching danger or foe,
So if you listen you will know.
Because you are precious to Him,
And would be feeling very grim;
So God would not feel any cheer,
Since you are so honored and dear.
You have been precious in His sight,
Deeply loved and such a delight;
So be not afraid you are saved,
His name on your heart is engraved.
