Powerful Prayer
When in trouble please pray,
But if happy then sing;
As long as you obey,
The blessings it will bring.
If you are feeling ill,
Then call upon the church;
Pray instead of a pill,
For a cure for to search.
Put oil on the head,
In the name of the Lord;
Then get some rest in bed,
Your prayer is not ignored.
Through your faith when you pray,
Will save those who are sick,
Makes clear skies that were gray,
With recovery quick.
And if you commit sin,
You will be forgiven;
Repent to cleanse within,
As you pray to Heaven.
So pray for each other,
For helping to be healed;
As sister and brother,
Are beside you and kneeled.
