Became One of Us
I am with sisters and brothers,
That God has given unto me;
Flesh and blood that many others,
That are just unable to see.
Jesus became flesh and blood like those,
Who are walking upon the earth;
He did this to destroy the foe,
That has plagued us from our birth.
In this way we would be set free,
From the ones who have made us slaves;
For living life in a liberty,
No longer bonded to the graves.
So Jesus decided to assist,
Us instead of to angels aid,
For showing a way does exist,
With death no need to be afraid.
So He became as a brother,
For giving His mercy and grace;
And given birth from a mother,
With coming to God face to face.
Since Jesus had become a man,
And experienced temptation;
So forgiveness would be His plan,
Helping others from deception.
