The Same Attitude as ChristDo you have comfort from above, With some consolation of love; Or the peace as you can feel it, For fellowship with the Spirit. The sympathy and compassion, For that so often we ration; And avoids giving others joy, Within causing hope to destroy. You need to get into the mood, By having the same attitude; With the same love within the heart, And able to use to impart. Be of same mind and one accord, Live in harmony with the Lord; And doing nothing through faction, Rather a humbled reaction. Because you cannot pass the test, If you do think you are the best; Since knowing deep it is true All others are better than you. So always be concern with ones, Even for anyone that shuns; Love and compassion you share, And will shine like Christ that you care. Copyright © 2011 Richard Newton Sherrer Vote for this poem
