 ECHOES OF THE HEART

HELP THE HURTING, OH LORD!

H  ow much we need Thy tender care,
E  ngulfed are many in dark nightmares
L  ife has shown them so much pain,
P  lease help them past the present strain!

T  hough Thy Blessings have been sought,
H  ow much evil, this world hath wrought
E  nthuiasm thus loses it's edge,

H  emming some up in unbridled dread.
U  nless Your Help we can secure,
R  ecovery for them seems quite unsure
T  though for their good our hearts doth burn,
I  t's for such we seek Right's return.
N  ow for them we unite in prayer,
G  od reach down and show Your Care

O  verriding the proud ways of men,
H  elp, O LORD, for who else can?

L  et Thy Power be manifest,
O  ur hrting ones to thus be blest
R  each down and lift them by Thy Love,
D  ear Lord of earth and heav'n above!
