'' The Human Race Has Died '' We used to live in comfort until you lot came along, we were in abundance, we did nothing wrong, then the Human Race evolved if only we could ban it, for all they've done since they arrived is to destroy our planet. We lived our lives through Natures way, none of us knew greed, as long as we could eat and drink we fulfilled our need, then you came and over-killed, you emptied out the seas, you killed off species everywhere your hunger to appease. Your need to eat and drink so much, the desire for war not peace, means you kill and die for greed, when will you ever cease, as you overpopulate and resources become thinner, don't you know that as you grow there can only be one winner. So as you sit and eat your meal consisting of ten courses, think of us there's nothing left you've used up our resources, Natures trying to say to you, please stop all the strife, if you refuse to listen you'll deprive us all of life. Interfering in Nature is such a dangerous game, for when she says enough's enough things will never be the same, Nature is your God on Earth it has taken all your flak, but now it's clearly saying ‘' I'll need to fight you back ''. She gave us all a chance in life to nurture all four seasons, you have tried to change all that, why there are no reasons, now we live in dark despair as Humans create storms, they still destroy the forests while the planet warms. Their process of destruction means they shed our blood, their melting of the ice caps creates a massive flood, the water in the oceans will heat up and then boil, all because of Humans greed for black stuff they call oil. They need to see the damage caused and step back from the brink, then realise when water dies, oil you cannot drink, but what do they do to help themselves, they create another toy, then look for other planets which they can then destroy. If only they would realise that nature makes us equal, if they destroy the planet Earth there will not be a sequel, while they wreck our habitats, and as the planet dies, all animals will look at them as they let out their cries. Why can't Humans grasp the fact Mother Nature is supreme, if they continue interfering all life is but a dream, since the day that you arrived you've thought you were superior, a look at your destruction shows your intelligence is inferior. Unless you learn soon to stop all this havoc that you bring, your time on Earth will disappear you'll have had your fling, then as the Human beings starve for want of milk and honey, be aware if you dare you can't eat gold nor money. If you just continue to ignore those warning signs, I will not lie you will all die as nature realigns, in the minds of Humans there is such a massive dearth, don't they know that when they go the meek shall inherit the earth. One good thing for animals is, we will then survive, as Humans go we'll start to grow then we'll remain alive, Nature has been warning you now for at least a hundred years, that what your doing is all wrong and sure to end in tears. You've worshipped gold and diamonds and anything that glistened, you ignored the signs and collapsing mines and still you never listened, one fateful day we all woke up the Humans were no longer there, a peaceful calm descended there was something in the air. No stench of carbon monoxide the temperature was really cool, The Sun was breaking through the smog, of clean air our lungs were full, when we knew you'd finally gone we all just sang and cried, we all rejoiced as we all voiced, ‘' The Human Race Has Died ‘' Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
