Live Holy Lives
Your mind has to be clear,
Knowing that God is near;
Ready for what He states,
Putting to use your traits.
Place confidence in God,
Giving honor and laud;
For kindness He will bring,
If to the cross you cling.
For Christ will come again,
Hearing the last amen;
At the last trumpet call,
Before fire will fall.
As children who obey,
Do not live to go stray;
Pleasing your fire,
God does not desire.
You did not know before,
What happens with the lure;
As temptations will rise,
In capturing the eyes.
But God calls you holy,
To be meek and lowly;
And be throughout your life,
Still through the midst of strife.
Be holy since God is too,
Unto Him remain true;
For your Father above,
Disciplines and gives love.
