 Stolen You (from on Empire)

Stolen You

I have stolen you away
To days of amethyst wine
And Monet pools

The caress of a silver sword
Hints of hidden lace
In our forbidden place

Abandon bursts forth
From the night:
A tempest
Rolling over me

Lying in the dark
Beauty by my side
Lightning lashes
At the blackberry sky

I'll sleep
When I'm laid low
It is not rest I seek--

Your radiance is all I need
Your kiss is the breath before I submerge,
Drowning in your luminous skin

Two azure eyes
Two arms, two legs
That even Vulcan envies

What a beautiful redundancy....

Remind me to thank your maker!
