Relationship with God
God is light no darkness within,
A light that is pure without sin;
If we remain true to the light,
We will find favor in His sight.
If we say we abide in God,
Sincere through honor and laud;
Yet in the darkness where we live,
We lie and truth we do not give.
For all have sinned and have fallen,
Not see the Garden of Eden;
Short of His glory to have been,
Sinful corrupted and unclean.
If we are living in the light,
The same as God where it is bright;
Then we have a relationship,
With God that is a partnership.
For how could this ever been done,
It was from the blood of His Son;
With being on the same accord,
One mind and spirit in the Lord.
It is His blood that cleans within,
Each of us from every sin;
God is always faithful and just,
When we put our faith and trust.
If we say that we have no sin,
We deceive and no truth within;
But if we will pray and confess,
God will forgive and also bless.
