Work like the Apostles
You do not have to feel ashamed,
From my writing that I proclaimed;
About all things that Christ has said,
That you should be doing instead.
Rather it is for to instruct,
And admonish you on conduct;
Ensuring that you not prolong,
With doing the things that are wrong.
You have countless men as tutors,
Father figures that are mentors;
That will guide you through Christian life,
As you confront toils and strife.
Just remember that the Good News,
Is about Christ paying your dues;
Just remember about the way,
That a Christian not go astray.
I teach nearly everywhere,
Of the Gospel as I will share;
As I do the work of the Lord,
And showing how He is adored.
Do not be arrogant with pride,
Having lust corrupt you inside;
If the Christian life that you live,
God is just willing to forgive.
His Kingdom is not merely talk,
It is where someday you will walk;
Having more power than you knew,
Could ever exist through such virtue.
