Times of Stress
Something that you must understand,
A fast pace world with high demand;
And with living in the last days,
Your mind has turned into a maze.
People are selfish and do lust,
Other than God is where they trust;
They are arrogant and are rude,
Bragging with a bad attitude.
They will curse showing disrespect,
And their children they will neglect;
Letting them do as desired,
No concern what they acquired.
It seems as though their love will cease,
And with anyone not make peace;
With having no respect for God,
Never giving honor and laud.
For them as me myself and I,
Only what is pleasing to their eye;
Because they love earthly pleasure,
Rather than God as their treasure.
Stay away from someone like them,
Or God will certainly condemn;
Your actions on what you have done,
Be hard to defend by the Son.
That is why if your mind is weak,
Pray onto the Lord and go seek;
To rid yourself of desire,
That runs to the lake of fire.
