Brailyn(I wrote this for my Great-Niece Brailyn Powell) Brailyn Brailyn, little child from God Jesus, protect her with love Hold her gently in Your arms She is precious in our hearts Brailyn, delicate and small You are special to us all Jesus, heal our little child You are present when she smiles She was born despite all odds All our trust was put in God For we knew He had His plans So we placed her in His hands When we hold her close each night We have comfort in His light And we know she's in good hands It is then we understand Brailyn, the angels all rejoiced When they heard your pretty voice When you opened up your eyes It is then we realized That you proved the skeptics wrong So we praise God with our songs For the day that you were born You had weathered through the storm You were born despite all odds All our trust is put in God For we know He has His plans So we place you in His hands When we hold you close each night We have comfort in His light And we know you're in good hands It is then we understand That each day that you're alive We must give all thanks to Christ For without Him there's no hope And in Him we know you'll grow So with love we say to you What you brought to us is true You have blessed us with your life You are perfect in Christ's eyes You were born despite all odds All our trust is put in God For we know He has His plans So we place you in His hands When we hold you close each night We will follow in His light And we know you're in good hands It is then we understand Copyright ©2011 Marvin H Lane Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem
