Dedicating Your Life
Let your love be sincere,
Hate where evil will dwell;
Keep in mind God is near,
Who helps you avoid hell.
Hold on to what is good,
Devote to each other;
All the love that you should,
For sister and brother.
Never try to neglect,
Your mother and father;
Be sure to show respect,
Rebellious to neither.
You should not be lazy,
Always show devotion;
It makes you stir crazy,
Giving sad emotion.
Use your get-up-and-go,
For serving our Lord;
Let your energy flow,
For whom you have adored.
Be glad and confident,
Patient during trials;
It will be evident,
When one has denials.
Pray to God for guidance,
Of what you have in need;
Through your obedience,
He will help you succeed.
