Servanthood as a Christian
You say you can do anything,
With no repercussion to bring;
But not all is fit to be done.
Without the blessings from the Son.
You should be concerned of others,
Helping your sisters and brothers;
Ensuring they are doing their best,
While being faced with a test.
For not all things encourages,
Spiritual growth as one ages;
So when in Christ thinking of we,
Rather than conceited in me.
In the store eat anything sold,
But not expired as too old;
So do not let it bother you,
In eating something in your view.
For the earth belongs to the Lord,
And all on it should be adored;
Before you eat you bow your face,
And thank the Lord by saying grace.
Why should my freedom need to judge,
Unless jealous holding a grudge;
If I give thanks for the food I eat,
Why should I have to be discreet?
For God ensures that I am fed,
And needed rest going to bed;
So I want the whole world to know,
How thankful everywhere I go.
