 ~REFLECTING MOMENTS~

JUST BE


I cry inside
{{vibrating words}}
there is a tear
^suspended^
in the back of my throat

I stand within the falls
and the shattering water
from some sacred place
that I come from

Fluid chains restrain me
I wait for just a kiss
that very kiss of freedom

Somewhere in time
we are
and will have been

I've known you all my lives
spiritual attachments

I grieve without you
touch me tonight
allow our cosmic connection

We shall never perish
as will our bodies
we will be
infinite

You move inside my veins
I feel your pulse---

You are my sip of water
you are my taste of bread
you are my fondest weakness

Just promise me
you will always be
