Unlocking the Gate
I must brag even though not good
Something to say I think I should;
It happen to be a vision,
From the Lord a revelation.
At one time I was snatched away,
Who put their trust and did obey;
And wound up in a paradise,
So beautiful and to entice.
I heard things I cannot express,
In words but seem to soothe my stress;
Relaxing sounds that could be heard,
Would not translate into a word.
An aroma smells of delight,
And my eyes had a pleasing sight;
Everything I say is true,
So wonderful within my view.
Lucifer keeps tormenting me,
For having a chance I could see;
What it is like on the new earth,
With such beauty of all its worth.
I told God I am a disgrace,
And do not deserve such a place;
For I am just a sinful man,
Who does not fit into His plan.
But God said kindness that I bear,
With having willingness to share;
Gives me power needed to seek,
When I am humbled and weak.
So God had given to me straight,
Just when He will unlock the gate;
As long as I will do my best,
In me the might of Christ will rest.
