Cursed Trust
Cursed is whoever trusts in man,
Making the flesh and blood his might;
Instead of the Word as his plan,
Unto his desired delight.
Curse to turn away from the Lord,
While he looks upon his lust;
Letting the Word to be ignored,
And only keeping earthly trust.
Curse for no longer to impart,
Which is within the Holy Word;
Allowing for a hardened heart,
With secular voice to be heard.
Like tumble weed in the desert,
Wandering aimlessly in wind;
And been an immoral pervert,
Countless times in which he has sinned.
He will not see good come his way,
With being spiritually blind;
As he will continue to stray,
Since he is rude and is not kind.
He will live in a salty land,
That is also arid and dry;
Building his house on sinking sand,
Where vultures are filling the sky.
He will never have peace and rest,
And never experience confidence;
Because he will never be blest,
By the Lord for his providence.
