I look above in wonder, through darkened skies, and claps of thunder.
Feel as if my placements wrong, questioning where I belong.
Do they remember me out there?
Do they miss me?
Do they care?
Will I remain til time is done? Was I cast out? Or on the run?
Perhaps on Earth I'll stand alone, before I've earned my wings back home.
Beyond the rule of human kings, above the reach of human beings.
Across an endless starlit sea, until this land I cannot see.
