Moving Past Sinful Failure
Forget what happened in the past,
Because time is moving too fast;
So do not dwell things long ago,
That has been causing you a woe.
Rather try something that is new,
And can chase away what is blue;
But you do not recognize how,
That it is happening right now.
God will clear a way in desert,
So that the waters will divert;
A river to bathe in and drink,
A place to relax and to think.
But you have grown tired of Him,
And you feel weary and are grim;
For you no longer put your trust,
In God who is faithful and just.
The Father alone is the one,
That has sent His begotten Son;
To finally go close the door,
Remembering your sins no more.
Rebellious actions wiped away,
The times that you had gone astray;
For God will forgive and forget,
Since Jesus Christ paid for your debt.
But those not willing to admit,
Their salvation they will forfeit;
And live with their desire,
In the ever lake of fire.
