Toughest Challenges of Life
I love the Lord because He hears,
My voice as I sound off a plea;
He will come for calming my fears,
And will turn His ear onto me.
I call Him as long as I live,
Because He hears all of my prayers;
With a willingness to forgive,
For His mercy shows that He cares.
The ropes of death try to surround,
With horrors grabbing from the grave;
Then the wind makes a rustling sound,
As I see angels come to save.
So gracious and just is the Lord,
And merciful when I am weak;
Dazed and lost but am not ignored,
As He guides me to what I seek.
That is why I can be at peace,
In my soul with all that is here;
Ensuring that chaos will cease,
As He dries my eyes from each tear.
No longer having stumbling feet,
As we walk along side-by-side;
Because my life is now complete,
Since I am willing to abide.
I keep my faith no matter what,
I just might be having to face;
The only One that must be sought,
Is the Lord who will shed His grace.
