A Vacuum of IdeasA vacuum of ideas, no more outlets of expression, A mind gone blank, sinking into a poetic recession, Becoming devoid of rhymes essentially no story to tell, I feel robbed of creativity, subjected to a witches spell, To relate a story in verse you need that visual eloquence, When seeing a world unique, describing that very essence, Capturing a scene in words like a camera's moment in time, Words can be so descriptive embellished with meter and rhyme, Poetry will always be a challenge, to take what others can see, Making it so tangible in print, and describing a picture for free, Patience is a virtue, be prepared to open your eyes and ears, To fill that vacuum with inspiration and not with your fears, That void is a mirage, you think there's nothing to find, Look within and you'll discover a lost world in your mind, Our senses absorbing this wonderful world that we share Finding the meaning of words like a message in a prayer.
