Perfection
O Lord our God we proclaim,
For how majestic is thy name;
Its sound is of a priceless worth,
So precious throughout all the earth.
Your glory is sung to Heaven,
From mouths of children is given;
As a fortress is built to show,
Might for resistance to Your foe.
Looking at all of creation,
I think about the perfection;
Made with the fingers of Your hand,
In the air and sea and on the land.
Along with the stars and the moon,
As all things perfectly attune;
With everything set in place,
That is through Your mercy and grace.
What is man if without His Lord,
If You would have merely ignored;
Your creation after all done,
And never would have sent your Son.
And so You have shown that You care,
For an inheritance to share;
While making us to prevail,
Over all creatures to entail.
Whether it is cattle or sheep,
What maybe swims or it might creep;
That in the air or in the sea,
Aiding is up to you and me.
