For His Word
Seek the Lord as He may be found,
And search without making a sound;
Then call and listen for His voice,
When you hear then you can rejoice.
Call Him knowing that He is near,
For you never have need to fear;
When need Him to render you aid,
There is no need to feel afraid.
Let wicked people that will stray,
Go abandon their evil way;
And vacate desires and thoughts,
Repenting from all their onslaughts.
They must not let it be ignored,
That they can return to the Lord;
For He will show them His mercy,
With the insight so they can see.
Let them return to our God,
Show them how to honor and laud;
Because God will freely forgive,
With an eternity to live.
I know that my thoughts are not yours,
Since you have chosen other doors;
Just as my ways are not your own,
In which He would never condone.
For Heaven is higher than earth,
So have thoughts of God have more worth;
Just as His ways higher than yours,
And why you are tempted by lures.
