Obligations of a Christian
You have always tried to obey,
And attempted to do your best;
With going through from day to day,
While facing every test.
So you continue to work out,
Your salvation with intense fear;
As you still are holding some doubt,
About the time as it comes near.
It is God, who invokes in you,
Desires and actions to please;
Him each and every day through,
Within His Spirit He decrees.
So do not complain or argue,
About things that need to get done;
And then saving your point of view,
After the time that you have none.
Then you are blameless and sinless,
Because you done doing your chore;
And God will shower blessedness,
Showing you are truly mature.
You will be children of the Lord,
And without having any fault;
So you will be loved and adored,
With your treasure stored in His vault.
God will ensure to heal your scars,
While you hold the Word of life;
And you will be shining like stars,
Taking you from the midst of strife.
