Love the Law of the Lord
Some folks are of a double mind,
The people that are just two-face;
One side as rude the other kind,
They are somewhat of a disgrace.
But for me though I love the Law,
And will be keeping it inside;
So I will not obtain a flaw,
Since I know that I will abide.
The Lord will be my hiding place,
To be shielding me from my foes;
Knowing anytime I must face,
Guardian angels He bestows.
My hope has been built on His Word,
That faith builds on a foundation;
And all that I have read and heard,
Assures me of my salvation.
God promises to render aid,
So I will be able to live;
And I never will feel betrayed,
His compassion is reactive.
He never disappoints my hope,
Because He has given me the strength;
For making it through as to cope,
And persevere at any length.
That is why I love what He taught,
As my body shudders in fear;
To stop me from temptations sought,
Knowing that God is always near.
