Friendship

I'm jumping up and spinning round
It's been awhile since I've been down
Instead of sadness since you've gone
I'll wrap it up into a song

I'll sing of times we have laughed
And put them in a paragraph
I'll think of all the things we've done
In the rain and in the sun

You truly are the best for me
You've kept me from my misery
If I have the chance again
I'll hold you close and call you friend

You're love will last us beyond time
We'll show them all it is so fine
Finally I'll have to say
You stand by me in every way

Your words have brought me through my tears
They have guided me through years
I am so glad that you are there
You show me yes you really care

You are the best thing in my life
Saving me from pain and strife
Here's one thing for which I'll boast
It is so true I love you most
