Having Peace with God
We have a peace with God,
By the faith we are condoned;
So we honor and laud,
To God who is enthroned.
Because what Christ has done,
We stand in His favor;
For the victory won,
By the Son as Savior.
We brag with confidence,
For glory we receive;
Since we have evidence,
For what we do believe.
But we also do brag,
Of the woes we endure;
And wave the Christian flag,
With faith that is mature.
But we are still sinners,
Although Jesus Christ died;
But now we are winners,
From blood poured from His side.
For beside us He stands,
As counsel for the case;
To clean us of commands,
That we are in disgrace.
This demonstrates the love,
With mercy and pity;
That still flows from above.
Each time we have a plea.
