 Roadblock
My poetry keeps jumping
All inside my head
Each word is trying to get out
Dying to be read
But when I try to write it
It's just a jumbled mass
Sadness all around me
I hope it soon will pass
Now I hear the rhythm
Now I feel the beat
I'll let it flow just like a stream
And give myself a treat
First the come on slowly
Stumbles here and there
Then it rushes right on by
And lifts the load I bear
Can't you hear my laughter?
I'm painting all my words
In sweet romance and sadness
My words are finally heard
