Greater Than Moses
Since we have confidence,
Within the new promise;
We can speak in defense,
In utterly boldness.
We are not like Moses,
Who had covered his face;
A veil he did possess,
From the shine of the grace.
He did not want it seen,
Glory fading away;
In the presence that been,
With the Lord on that day.
The people were not kind,
When they read from the Book;
Each one had a closed mind,
Kept the veil when they look.
Just Christ removes the veil,
When the Book had been read;
Glory shines brightly pale,
If veil removed instead.
This Lord is the Spirit,
In Him there is freedom;
Through whom we inherit,
Going to His Kingdom.
As all of us reflect,
His glory and the veil;
We should never neglect,
What Christ did to unveil.
