Exploring

He set off for the edge of the world
Which was over by the big old tree
He started off so very early
To be home in time for tea
He crossed the dangerous lawn
And then he had to wait
As either mummy or daddy
Had bolted the garden gate
He didn't go to the end of the world
But went somewhere else instead
Then after all the excitement
Napped for a while on his bed
He knew one day he'd go
Right up to the big old tree
The edge of the world can wait
For an explorer who's only three
