It has been nine years this August
The tragic Motor home accident
Staci's children are now grown
Down from heaven a sign shown
Her children are now in college
Still a God parent she be
Her God daughter walking on campus
From the crowd comes son Alex
Cousin I was sent to look after you
Mom up above is still doing her job
Down below life as usual moves on
As Angels watch from up above
Two cousins sharing a mother's love
Nine years ago there was a tragic accident
To soar
To seek
embrace the sky
Alas no wings have I
Her walk so gentle
Yet aloft
As a bird on it's maiden flight
Her voice so soft
a mere whisper in the night
No more beautiful
Woman I must say
that she as beautiful
coming towards
As the day she was taken away
This was written at her grave site
A young mother taken far too soon
But now the young child who was in
the car with grandma behind is off
to college and the same college as
his cousin and he comes from the
crowd to see her first days in college
Life does go on and we miss Staci
