Focus on Wisdom
Listen and accept what I say,
It is the Word of God to obey;
They will help you cope with the strife,
And multiply years on your life.
For I teach the way to wisdom,
Which helps us get to His Kingdom;
As it guides you down the right path,
So you will be spared from the wrath.
Ensure to go on to abide,
When you walk as you watch your stride;
That you are remaining humble,
For if you run do not stumble.
Keep clinging to your discipline,
Which will keep you away from sin;
Do not ever relax your grip,
Be careful what spews off your lip.
Do not walk within the pathway,
Where evil people make you stray;
Turn away and do not walk near,
For you will have the Lord to fear.
So open your ears and your eyes,
Then the wisdom will make you wise;
Do not lose sight of anything,
And remember the cross to cling.
Keep them deep within your heart,
Repeating in mind to impart;
Guard your heart whence as your love flows,
As your life and your spirit grows.
The source of your life flows from it,
Protecting the soul and your spirit;
If you lean to your left or right,
Your wisdom may lose its insight.
