Imitating God
Imitate God every day,
Be certain to trust and obey;
Because you are now His child,
Being humbled meek and mild.
Live in love as Christ always did,
Everything open nothing hid;
Because He had been sacrificed,
As a means when we are enticed.
A soothing aroma to God,
When we honor and laud;
But not when the odor of sin,
Then your body will stink within.
The perversion of any kind,
As well as greed within your mind;
Makes the stench become way too strong,
And as His kin you do not belong.
It is not right for foolish talk,
Dirty stories where you may walk;
Saying obscene jesters or jokes,
While having a pack of smokes.
Instead give thanks when you confess,
You will be assured God will bless;
Expect a poor spiritual health,
If you are worshipping your wealth.
Do not let anyone deceive,
Of what you already believe;
For you can never inherit,
Only through the quests you merit.
It is only meaningless words,
That can be carried by the birds;
If your heart defies to obey,
While you continue to stray.
