Not so easy
The sun dances across my desk
It draws upon my mind.
Fills me full of energy
And dreams of every kind.
Looking in my crystal ball
The clouds begin to part
Showing what might be like
If you will share your heart.
It sounds so fast and easy
A simple thing to do.
With time, it will get harder
Most don't make it through.
When no one is around
The pencils sit and talk.
I know the words are flowing
Around the room they walk.
Why does it always happen?
When I am all-alone
And I'm feeling lonesome
You call me on the phone.
You draw elaborate pictures
Like none I've ever seem.
Colors splash across the paper
Saying what you mean.
You talk of this and that
Clearing out my mind.
Showing me a greater love
I know I will be fine.
