Reprise

They knew each other intimately
From all those years long gone,
Knew which button to press
Each to turn the other on.
Now at this chance meeting
Those feelings surged again
Each knowing it was not if
But knowing the just when.

An exchange of mobile numbers,
A quick embrace at the door,
Just the finding of a convenient time
To become lovers once more.
The meeting had been made,
Their demands much lower
But  their love making had been
So much deeper and slower.

They had cuddled up together
Skin against skin to rest
This was the time after
They used to like the best;
But today it was special
Because they both knew when
This time they said goodbye
They would never meet again.
