Blessings of Wisdom
When a divine sentence,
On the tip of the tongue;
Think of your repentance,
After it has been flung.
For judgment is not wrong,
When it comes from the Lord;
Agony will prolong,
If it is just ignored.
Honest balance and scales,
Belongs to the Lord God;
With weights that are nails,
Tested not to be flawed.
Evil is disgusting,
From the kings on a throne;
Especially lusting,
God would never condone.
It is for righteousness,
On the throne whence command;
God ensures blessedness,
Be given from His hand.
When kings use honest words,
And they speak what is right;
The people sing like birds,
For a dear king in sight.
But gloom comes to a crowd,
From angered words bring pain;
When the approaching cloud,
Brings the torrential rain.
