Continue Your Work
I solemnly call upon you,
In the presence of God and Christ;
Who is judging if you were true,
Or temptation made you enticed.
Judging both living and the dead,
For He will return to rule earth;
And telling you where you will head,
As well as to what your true worth.
So be ready to spread the Word,
Whether or not the time is right;
Speak loudly for it to be heard,
To prepare to enter the light.
Point out errors and warn people,
And encourage them to abide;
To what is said in the Gospel,
While memorizing inside.
Be very patient when you teach,
Take the time you need to inform;
But be accurate when you preach,
Not to cause their mind start a storm.
Time will come when no one will hear,
Because they will do their own thing;
And with God they no longer fear,
Doubt promises Heaven would bring.
They would rather follow their dream,
That fit into their desire;
For building their own self-esteem,
Destroying the truth with fire.
But you must continue to do,
Your work and completely devote;
Onto God every day through,
With every word the Lord wrote.
