The Fruitful Branch
You were indeed called to be free,
As brothers and sisters should be;
Freedom for giving you a choice,
Letting you to lift up your voice.
Let not freedom be an excuse,
For corruption will cause abuse;
Expressions can turn into sin,
That will make you decay within.
Rather, serve each other through love,
With loving your neighbor thereof;
As yourself to love just as much,
Just as God gives His gentle touch.
Live your life as directed through,
In a spiritual sense to you;
Then as you go every day,
And you will not have time to stray.
I tell you now as I told you then,
And continue to say again;
A corrupt sense is not the same,
As a sacred sense will proclaim.
It is contrary in nature,
For being as a new creature;
When you start out to embark,
By go walking within the dark.
Be a fruitful branch when you go,
And you will see the blessings flow;
Always be kind and in control,
While His Spirit stirs your soul.
