Faith Guides Our Lives
If the life that we live,
As we know here on earth;
God is able to give,
Each of us a rebirth.
If removed like a tent,
We still have a building;
Where we will feel content,
If our faith is yielding.
Yielding a good supply,
Of compassion and love;
That the faith will apply,
As it flows from above.
For the eternal home,
In which we call Heaven;
When we no longer roam,
A room will be given.
For here we merely sigh,
As we wait for that day;
But never wonder why,
If we trust and obey.
But still we feel distressed,
Because we sit and wait;
For when we have been blessed,
For going through the gate.
Then with eternal life,
Our mortal life ends;
And be ridden of strife,
As well as what offends.
