Decision Making Time
You received a gift from the Lord,
In which should never be ignored;
That God had given the command,
Upon you He had placed His hand.
Now you fan this gift to enflame,
So you are able to proclaim;
The power that God had given,
Onto you flowing from Heaven.
We have no cowardly spirit,
From the Lord that we inherit;
Rather one of power and love,
Wisdom and judgment thereof,
Be not ashamed but discipline,
Yourself from temptation of sin;
Boldly tell about the Good News,
To others of what they can choose.
God called on us to be holy,
For we are His one and only;
Not because of what we have done,
But for His plan that gave His Son.
Christ our Savior has revealed,
Unto us the plan that was sealed;
That through Christ death has been destroyed,
So salvation can be employed.
Eternal life is in full view,
Just as the Gospel has been true;
Protect your gift until that day,
When we will be on our way.
